On June 23, 2026, Porsche Asia Pacific Motorsport Shanghai officially announced that Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (hereinafter referred to as PCCA), its top one-make racing series in Asia, has entered into a title sponsorship partnership with ARbox, a trendy Chinese car model brand. The signing ceremony was held at the Porsche Experience Center Shanghai, where the newly designed collaborative ARbox livery for the official PCCA race car was unveiled simultaneously.

This marks the first title sponsorship partnership PCCA has sealed with a local Chinese brand in its 23 years of operation, as well as the first title sponsor specializing in car models in the series’ history, pioneering cross-border collaboration between Asia’s premier motorsport events and Chinese national consumer brands. This partnership deeply integrates the craftsmanship of Chinese model brands with Porsche’s racing heritage. Using scale car models as miniature carriers, it lowers the barrier for people to engage with motorsport culture, enabling Porsche motorsport to enter the public sphere in a more accessible and collectible way, and further expanding the event’s influence across China and the Asian market.
Alexandre Gibot, Managing Director of Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific, stated: “PCCA has long been committed to promoting and disseminating motorsport culture. Porsche welcomes the title sponsorship from ARbox. We look forward to this innovative cross-border cooperation allowing more motorsport fans to experience the unique allure of racing, and jointly opening a new chapter in the promotion of Asian motorsport culture.”

Liu Xueshen, Chairman of Shunlin Model, the parent company of ARbox, stated: “We have high expectations for this in-depth full-year cooperation. Over the next year, ARbox will go all out to channel the immense passion of the industry into exquisitely crafted model art. We aim to let more people experience the dual charm of motor racing and precision scale models.”

Public information shows that since its debut at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia in 2003, the PCCA has gradually developed into Asia’s premier single-make racing series. Over 23 years, a total of 275 races have been held, attracting 237 drivers from 24 countries and regions to compete. It has served as a stepping stone for numerous professional drivers to enter top-tier international competitions such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
ARbox, a trendy sub-brand of Almost Real — the premium die-cast model brand under Shunlin Model, was officially launched in 2015. Carrying forward its parent brand’s commitment to high-end, exquisite scale models, ARbox specializes in small-scale replicas with exceptional detail accuracy. Its entire product line is crafted from alloy materials and has secured official licensing from multiple world-leading automobile manufacturers. The product portfolio covers factory-spec civilian vehicles as well as officially liveried racing collections for events including GTWC and China GT, earning wide recognition within the die-cast model collecting community.

As planned by both parties, the first joint themed event will be held during the next PCCA round in Bang Saen, Thailand. At that time, the 911 Cup race car wrapped with the collaborative ARbox livery will compete on the street circuit adjacent to the beach, allowing fans to experience the exciting combination of track thrills and the model IP in person.

It is worth mentioning that 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Shunlin Models, the parent company of ARbox. This title sponsorship collaboration with PCCA is the first major milestone in Shunlin Models’ annual brand strategy rollout. From October 16 to 18, ARbox and Almost Real, the high-end car model brand under Shunlin Models, will make an appearance at the APAxpo Modification Show held at Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. A landmark event celebrating Shunlin Models’ 10th anniversary will be officially announced during the exhibition, and relevant developments are well worth the attention of domestic car model and automotive modification enthusiasts.
