Masterful Modifications: Crafted to Perfection
The 2026 APAxpo Foshan Auto Modification Expo is set to open in grand fashion this October in Foshan. As a UFI-certified international exhibition, APAxpo is rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, covering the national modification market with a vertical focus on the auto modification industry. Throughout the year, it cultivates the B2B ecosystem, with 5,000 workshops invited to the exhibition site for exchange. This year’s Tianwang Car Appraisal Competition boasts a total prize pool of 100,000 RMB, with cash rewards and exclusive gifts for the champion, runner-up, second runner-up, and the top 50 participating vehicles nationwide.
Among the many entries, a ROBOT GT86 has emerged as a standout contender, capturing attention with its distinctive modification style and compelling owner story. The vehicle features a ROBOT wide-body custom carbon fiber wind blade, paired with BBS staggered wheels and AojiANG titanium alloy wheel bolts. A VERUS dry carbon wing and GlowMotion animated taillights complement each other perfectly, while the AIRBFT pneumatic system grants the body a flexible stance and the HKS full exhaust system releases a deep growl. Hardrace full chassis reinforcement components ensure handling precision, and ilamp underbody lights add nighttime visual flair. Inside, a MoMo quick-release steering wheel, carbon fiber triple gauge cluster, and starlight headliner create an immersive driving atmosphere, with a DIY custom trunk design showcasing the owner’s craftsmanship.
The Owner’s Story: A Passion That Never Fades
The owner’s story is the most touching footnote to this car. In his early twenties, he dove headfirst into the world of car modification, persisting in his passion despite the skepticism of those around him. This GT86 carried his most passionate youth and witnessed his tenderest romance. The passenger seat once held a girl who didn’t understand modifications but always smiled and said, “Your car is so beautiful.” Those days of one car, two people, and endless warmth were the finest gift of youth.
Eventually, like all beautiful stories, they drifted apart. There were no dramatic arguments, only the quietest kind of farewell that adults know too well. But the car remained, and the passion never faded. Today, this car no longer carries female passengers, spending more time as the “deputy factory manager” at a workshop. The owner still loves car modification, occasionally meeting fellow enthusiasts for mountain runs, only now with more composure and acceptance. As he says: “Speed can be fast, but memories are slow. This car carried my most burning passion, and holds the tenderest youth of my life.”
