The four-day APA&ACBC Asian Trend Auto Beauty Masters Competition – Guangzhou Station (December 15th to 18th) has come to a successful close amid a vibrant atmosphere. Centered on the core positioning of “In-depth Technical Cultivation + Commercial Empowerment”, the event adopted a closed-loop agenda featuring three days of intensive professional training and one day of divisional competitions, creating an all-round industry feast for auto beauty practitioners to upgrade their capabilities.
This event brings together four top-tier mentors from the auto detailing industry to deliver immersive dual-track training combining theoretical learning and hands-on practice. The lineup includes Wu Yang, proprietor of Chengdu Yiji Auto Service; Ge Lizao, proprietor of Xiaojiang Studio; Zhang Hongzhou, proprietor of UNDER Auto Service Center; and A Rong, proprietor of Shenzhen 11AC Auto Care Studio. They will share all their years of accumulated practical experience, covering core knowledge points such as the principles of paint surface maintenance, analysis of chemical agent properties, identification of leather materials, polishing solutions for complex vehicle conditions, precise tool operation, and standardized construction procedures. Every detail addresses the key technical pain points in the industry.
Two teaching assistants will also provide full-time on-site guidance: Zhong Tian, 2025 ACBC Annual Champion and proprietor of Yixin Studio, and Xie Jiaxin, a top 10 finalist of the 2025 ACBC Annual Competition and proprietor of H2O Auto Care Studio. They will answer trainees’ questions in real time and correct operational details hands-on, ensuring every participant fully grasps key technical points, achieves a capability leap from “understanding theories” to “mastering practical operations”, and truly acquires actionable professional auto detailing skills.
Hands-on polishing practice takes center stage for mastering flawless restoration of every inch of paintwork
As a core skill in auto detailing, polishing technology is the top priority of this course. Led by Mentor Wu Yang, the mentor team dispels the misconception of “rough polishing” and elaborates on the core logic of “scientific polishing”: from clear coat thickness testing and scratch grading, to accurate matching of SCARCITY master-grade polishing compounds, and dynamic control of polisher rotation speed (1500–2500 RPM) and pressure. The standardized three-stage polishing process — rough polishing, medium polishing, and fine polishing — will be demonstrated throughout the session. Trainees will conduct group hands-on practice, personally completing practical training including removal of paint oxidation layers, swirl mark repair, and mirror finish restoration under one-on-one mentor guidance. They will deeply comprehend the professional truth that “polishing is not thinning the car paint, but precise restoration”. Many trainees commented that they “have finally mastered efficient polishing techniques that leave the original factory paint intact”.
Apart from in-depth technical training for auto beauty services, another major highlight of this event is the newly launched Xiaojiang Master Marketing Course taught by renowned teacher Ge Lizao, which has become a sought-after “profit-making secret manual” among participants. Tailored precisely to the actual operational needs of auto beauty shops, this integrated marketing system dissects profit-generating logic across the full spectrum of customer acquisition, conversion and retention, empowering shop operators to boost business performance.
Boost Learning Through Competitions to Showcase Talent, Grow Together for the Love of the Craft
When the knowledge accumulated from training meets the thrill of competition, the Guangzhou Stop of APA & ACBC concluded on an exhilarating high note with its skill contest! This contest is not merely a battle of capabilities, but also the ultimate assessment of all trainees’ three-day learning outcomes. On the competition floor, every trainee adopted a pursuit-of-perfection mindset, striving to complete practical assessments including polishing and restoration, chemical agent application, and detail refinement within the given time limits. Precise techniques, professional operations and focused expressions all fully demonstrate the professional competence and craftsmanship of automotive beauty practitioners.
