Craft Ultimate Skills · Lead Future Operations | Dec 15-18, ACBC Guangzhou Regional Competition, Unlock Dual Codes of Auto Beauty Technology and Business

A Passionate Grand Finale! This Auto Beauty Extravaganza Holds the Dual Secrets of Technology and Marketing!

The four-day APA&ACBC Asian Trend Auto Beauty Masters Competition – Guangzhou Station (December 15th to 18th) has come to a successful close amid a vibrant atmosphere. Centered on the core positioning of “In-depth Technical Cultivation + Commercial Empowerment”, the event adopted a closed-loop agenda featuring three days of intensive professional training and one day of divisional competitions, creating an all-round industry feast for auto beauty practitioners to upgrade their capabilities.

The training sessions zeroed in on cutting-edge industry demands, covering core technologies such as paint polishing, scientific application of chemical agents, and meticulous cleaning of interior leather. They also extended to practical operational skills including car wash business growth strategies, efficient store marketing, and short-video editing and operation, delivering two-way empowerment of technology and business. Beyond building a cross-regional platform for industry communication, the event injected robust momentum into the innovative development of the auto beauty sector through its knowledge-packed curriculum system and immersive hands-on practical experience.

A star-studded team of elite mentors leads the session to unlock core auto detailing expertise

This event brings together four top-tier mentors from the auto detailing industry to deliver immersive dual-track training combining theoretical learning and hands-on practice. The lineup includes Wu Yang, proprietor of Chengdu Yiji Auto Service; Ge Lizao, proprietor of Xiaojiang Studio; Zhang Hongzhou, proprietor of UNDER Auto Service Center; and A Rong, proprietor of Shenzhen 11AC Auto Care Studio. They will share all their years of accumulated practical experience, covering core knowledge points such as the principles of paint surface maintenance, analysis of chemical agent properties, identification of leather materials, polishing solutions for complex vehicle conditions, precise tool operation, and standardized construction procedures. Every detail addresses the key technical pain points in the industry.

Two teaching assistants will also provide full-time on-site guidance: Zhong Tian, 2025 ACBC Annual Champion and proprietor of Yixin Studio, and Xie Jiaxin, a top 10 finalist of the 2025 ACBC Annual Competition and proprietor of H2O Auto Care Studio. They will answer trainees’ questions in real time and correct operational details hands-on, ensuring every participant fully grasps key technical points, achieves a capability leap from “understanding theories” to “mastering practical operations”, and truly acquires actionable professional auto detailing skills.

Hands-on polishing practice takes center stage for mastering flawless restoration of every inch of paintwork

As a core skill in auto detailing, polishing technology is the top priority of this course. Led by Mentor Wu Yang, the mentor team dispels the misconception of “rough polishing” and elaborates on the core logic of “scientific polishing”: from clear coat thickness testing and scratch grading, to accurate matching of SCARCITY master-grade polishing compounds, and dynamic control of polisher rotation speed (1500–2500 RPM) and pressure. The standardized three-stage polishing process — rough polishing, medium polishing, and fine polishing — will be demonstrated throughout the session. Trainees will conduct group hands-on practice, personally completing practical training including removal of paint oxidation layers, swirl mark repair, and mirror finish restoration under one-on-one mentor guidance. They will deeply comprehend the professional truth that “polishing is not thinning the car paint, but precise restoration”. Many trainees commented that they “have finally mastered efficient polishing techniques that leave the original factory paint intact”.

Xiaojiang Master Marketing Course: Unblock the Profit Meridians of Auto Beauty Shops

Apart from in-depth technical training for auto beauty services, another major highlight of this event is the newly launched Xiaojiang Master Marketing Course taught by renowned teacher Ge Lizao, which has become a sought-after “profit-making secret manual” among participants. Tailored precisely to the actual operational needs of auto beauty shops, this integrated marketing system dissects profit-generating logic across the full spectrum of customer acquisition, conversion and retention, empowering shop operators to boost business performance.

The highly targeted curriculum covers core modules including precise customer profiling, scenario-based service marketing, online traffic generation, existing customer referral programs, MOT (Moment of Truth) service design and consumer review management, covering the entire marketing workflow of auto beauty shops. Comparative analysis of real successful and failed shop cases enables trainees to intuitively grasp marketing principles and quickly master core tactics to “translate technical expertise into premium services” and “convert quality services into revenue”, facilitating their transformation from technical specialists to business managers.

“I used to only focus on technical work, but now I’ve learned how to communicate efficiently with customers and design hit service packages. This marketing course couldn’t have come at a better time!” Feedback from trainees attests to the practical value of the program. The on-site session was filled with lively interaction; participants actively raised questions, submitting a total of 96 operational pain points from 32 shops. Teacher Ge addressed each query in thorough detail, offering targeted solutions to real-world business challenges faced by store owners.

To align with current online marketing trends, the course adds hands-on training in photography and video editing. It delivers comprehensive guidance spanning shooting techniques, frame composition, video editing and copywriting, teaching trainees to create eye-catching promotional content for their shops. Adopting vivid and intuitive teaching methods, the course fully elevates participants’ comprehensive operational capabilities, helping auto beauty businesses seize market opportunities and drive profit growth.

Centered on the framework of “Theory + Practical Operation + Results”, we delve deep into three mandatory core skills for auto beauty practitioners, namely the three modules of “Full-process Practical Operation of Chemical Agent Application”, “Growth of Car Washing Business for Stores” and “Full-process Deep Interior Cleaning”. Adhering to the principle of “translating theories into practice, empowering via hands-on operations, and focusing on tangible results”, instructors deliver systematic and professional standardized training. Teacher Zhang Hongzhou serves as the key lecturer for two core courses packed with valuable practical insights. The first course is “Full-process Practical Operation of Chemical Agent Application”. Starting with the categorized properties of three types of agents for pre-treatment, cleaning and maintenance, it matches specific chemical agents to various stains such as tree sap, insect residues and oxidation layers. It elaborates on practical operation key points including mixing ratios, spraying methods and dwell time, and provides full-process guidance covering “agent matching – safe operation – effect inspection”, helping trainees avoid paint surface damage caused by improper use of chemical agents. The second course is “Growth of Car Washing Business for Stores”. Focusing on car washing as a core customer attraction service, it establishes a three-dimensional growth system consisting of “safety theories + standardized operations + marketing conversion”. It thoroughly explains protection tips for components like paint surfaces and glass to prevent issues such as improper high-pressure water gun operation and residual chemical agents. It also covers the six-step standardized service workflow of “vehicle reception – pre-inspection – cleaning – drying – re-inspection – vehicle handover” under standardized operation specifications, clarifying details including tool zoning and staff division of labor. In addition, it shares profit-making tactics such as package design, service bundling and loyal customer incentives, transforming car washing from a mere traffic entry point into a profit driver and comprehensively empowering store operation and management.

Teacher Arong delivers an in-depth lecture on the module “Full Process of Deep Interior Detailing”, accurately solving industry maintenance challenges through two-dimensional teaching. Drawing on years of hands-on experience, he effectively fills gaps in industry knowledge. From the basic recognition perspective, he elaborates on identification methods for materials including genuine leather, artificial leather, microfiber leather and interior fabric, and conducts an in-depth analysis of each material’s water resistance, wear resistance and cleaning taboos to prevent maintenance errors caused by misjudged materials from the source. From the scientific cleaning perspective, standardized procedures are customized for different interior materials: Leather cleaning follows four core steps: dry wipe pre-treatment, spot stain removal, overall cleaning and nourishing conditioning. Nano Tech CeramicPro Interior Cleaner is adopted, which leverages nanoceramic technology to deliver gentle cleaning and hydrophobic protection, preventing leather from aging and hardening. Key details are specified, including precise chemical dilution ratios, operating along material grain with soft brushes and microfiber towels, air-drying and conditioner application. For fabric cleaning, SCARCITY Shijiang Interior Fabric Cleaner S-350C is used, a Japan-formulated eco-friendly neutral pH product with flexible dilution ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:10. Practical techniques for penetrating stain removal with zero residue adhesion are shared. By matching these two professional cleaning agents properly, car interiors can achieve efficient cleaning and long-lasting maintenance, regaining soft luster while extending their service life.

Trainees conduct practical training in groups. Under the one-on-one precise guidance of instructors and teaching assistants Zhong Tian and Xie Jiaxin, they personally complete the full range of practical operations including chemical blending, standardized car washing, and interior leather cleaning. From precise control of chemical proportions and standardized execution of car washing procedures to detailed operations of leather cleaning, trainees immerse themselves in mastering professional skills.

Boost Learning Through Competitions to Showcase Talent, Grow Together for the Love of the Craft

When the knowledge accumulated from training meets the thrill of competition, the Guangzhou Stop of APA & ACBC concluded on an exhilarating high note with its skill contest! This contest is not merely a battle of capabilities, but also the ultimate assessment of all trainees’ three-day learning outcomes. On the competition floor, every trainee adopted a pursuit-of-perfection mindset, striving to complete practical assessments including polishing and restoration, chemical agent application, and detail refinement within the given time limits. Precise techniques, professional operations and focused expressions all fully demonstrate the professional competence and craftsmanship of automotive beauty practitioners.

After a fierce competition, the champions, runners-up, third-place winners of each division (who directly advance to the 2026 ACBC Semi-Finals) and the top eight contestants stood out with extraordinary strength. They impressed the entire audience with their exquisite skills and won rounds of applause. Meanwhile, participants who failed to reach the top eight also gained fruitful rewards. Through competitions and exchanges with their peers, they identified areas for self-improvement and accumulated valuable practical experience.

Everyone learned, communicated and grew together. More importantly, all participants successfully obtained the Master Scarcity Certified Completion Certificate. This weighty certificate stands as a symbol of honor and an authoritative endorsement of professional competence, bearing witness to the growth and transformation of every participant.
