APAxpo Makes a Triumphant Debut in Northern Expansion, Joins Hands with AIC to Launch “APA Northern Car Meet” at Beijing Shougang

The 2026 AIC China International Caravan Exhibition concluded successfully at Beijing Shougang Exhibition & Convention Center. A major highlight of the event was the in-depth participation of APAxpo, a leading domestic platform for automotive modification culture. The jointly upgraded Caravan Modification Fashion Festival became the spotlight of the show, marking the substantial implementation of APAxpo’s dual-core strategy of “Deep Cultivation in the South and Expansion in the North” and officially kicking off its national layout.

Occupying an area of approximately 2,000 square meters on the east side of Hall 12, the Caravan Modification Fashion Festival saw a notable scale upgrade. Leveraging its mature operation model and comprehensive community resources for modification culture, APAxpo showcased over 50 uniquely modified caravans featuring off-road, smart, retro and other styles. The exhibition presented cutting-edge designs, creative culture in the caravan modification sector, as well as the emerging lifestyle of customized mobile spaces. It injected trendy vitality into this world-class caravan event, serving as a cross-border platform connecting the caravan industry and modification ecosystem, and driving the upgrading of automotive consumption culture.

With the theme “Boundless Caravans, Journey with the World”, the 2026 AIC spanned a total exhibition area of 30,000 square meters and gathered nearly 200 renowned brands at home and abroad. Backed by its parent exhibition — the world’s largest Düsseldorf Caravan Salon — the event attracted around 50 complete vehicle brands including MAXUS, Saide and Lanzhon. Time Xin’an unveiled its flagship all-electric new model for its global debut, drawing wide attention. A host of well-known component suppliers also showcased their latest products, fully demonstrating the complete industrial chain of the caravan sector.

The opening ceremony was witnessed by representatives of Chinese and German industry organizations, senior executives from Messe Düsseldorf Group, and German table tennis star Timo Boll. During the exhibition, professional seminars such as Comprehensive Analysis of the European Caravan Market delivered valuable insights into overseas industry trends. A wealth of interactive activities, including the AIC SCHOOL exchange zone, the revamped Outdoor Lifestyle Festival market and caravan food street, created an immersive experience of caravan travel and leisure.

This successful cooperation with AIC stands as a pivotal starting point for APAxpo’s northern expansion strategy and a milestone in building its dual-engine development pattern: Foshan in the South and Beijing in the North. Taking the “Northern Car Meet” as a starting point, APAxpo is systematically extending its cultural influence, business ecosystem and community resources accumulated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to the core markets of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It aims to revitalize and integrate automotive cultural resources in northern China, heralding a new era of coordinated development of China’s automotive culture across the north and south.
