The first Asia Car Beauty Championship (ACBC), hosted by the Organizing Committee of the Foshan Modified Auto Show, will grandly kick off at the Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in China. Over 100 top technicians from auto service stores will gather in Foshan to compete, and for the first time, a cross-border buyer group will be organized to attend and purchase, covering the customized modification demand market in Southeast Asia.
Based on Thailand’s profound modification culture heritage and the new trend of China-Thailand industrial cooperation, the APAxpo team conducted in-depth visits to Bangkok’s modification ecosystem this year. The market vitality and recognition of Chinese brands are inspiring. We found that more than 60% of local stores have systematically introduced products made with Chinese intelligent manufacturing—from carbon fiber aerodynamic kits to electronic turbocharging systems. With performance on par with international brands and a price advantage of over 30%, Chinese modification parts are rapidly penetrating Thailand’s high-end modification market.
Against this backdrop, APAxpo has successfully connected with more than 100 core modification stores, which will gather at the Foshan Tanzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 19. These distributors hold a 60% share of the circulation network for Japanese performance car modification parts in Southeast Asia. The purpose of this trip is to connect with the new energy intelligent manufacturing technology in the Pearl River Delta and jointly explore the incremental market of the modification industry.
When mechanical craftsmanship collides with the soul of art, a visual feast belonging to Oriental modification culture is about to begin! The 2025 APAxpo (Foshan Modified Auto Show), in collaboration with Hong Kong’s IMXpo, will launch the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao JDM Modification Culture Season” with its core event—the first Greater Bay Area Modified Car Competition.
The competition specially invites Paul Ho, a “godfather-level” figure in Hong Kong’s automotive culture, and Mr. Chen Ziqi, a senior expert in the automotive media field, to jointly serve on the judge panel. In addition, an all-star judge team with an outstanding lineup from the Chinese mainland and Japan will also be present. Adhering to strict Japanese aesthetic standards, they will select the most representative JDM modified masterpieces in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from three dimensions: performance tuning, exterior design, and cultural alignment.
It is worth mentioning that the championship car will make an appearance at the Tokyo Auto Salon Hong Kong to meet more global audiences.

This year’s APAxpo (Foshan Modified Auto Show) will break the boundaries of local exhibitions and make its debut as a “physical showcase of Asian modification culture”—bringing together iconic modified masterpieces on the same stage, including Japan’s LB Works wide-body “God of War” (Nissan GT-R), Hong Kong’s rare JDM rotary-engine classics, Malaysia’s Pagani with Thai-style custom paint, and Thailand’s lowrider pickup tribes!
This is not only the largest pan-Southeast Asian classic car lineup in South China, but also a mechanical culture dialogue with steel as its carrier: when the bosozoku aesthetics of Tokyo Bay meet the free-spirited DNA of Bangkok streets, and the racing philosophy of Kuala Lumpur collides with Hong Kong’s performance beliefs, Chinese car enthusiasts will personally witness the ultimate charm of modification culture—it lies in the chemical reactions sparked by cross-border collisions!
