One month after nine government departments implemented the Modification Measures, automobile modification has officially moved out of the “grey area” and into the national industrial framework. Now that the policy is set, the next race is to capture customers first. After completing the Guangdong leg of the national outreach tour at APAXpo 2026 in June, we will launch the final round of on-site promotion ahead of the Foshan Exhibition in October, shifting our focus to Anhui, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Shandong.
• Jiangsu: The consumption power for modifications in southern Jiangsu rivals that of the Pearl River Delta. Suzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi boast a solid market for German vehicles and performance cars.
• Shandong: The largest used car market in northern China. Off-road and pickup truck modifications form the fundamental market in Linyi, Jinan and Qingdao.
• Anhui: Home to Hefei’s new energy industry and Chery Automobile, serving as a new testing ground for electric vehicle modifications.
• Guizhou: Blessed with mountain roads and a thriving off-road culture. The concentration of hardcore off-road enthusiasts in Guiyang and Zunyi is beyond outsiders’ imagination.
Rejecting “last-minute rush for temporary exhibitions”, Anhui, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Shandong are pursuing a “network-building strategy”. Guangdong’s approach is known as “certainty on home turf”, while the strategy adopted by Anhui, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Shandong is called “deep-layer enclosure”.
• The commitment system remains unchanged: contracted lead managers still sign military orders — they must bring their own procurement lists, modification orders and core vehicle enthusiasts, with a minimum quota of three vehicles.
📌 What brands want is not just “I took part in the exhibition”, but “I profited from participating in the exhibition”. Thanks to this network built by Anhui, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Shandong, all attendees at the Foshan event in October will come equipped with procurement lists.
At the Guangdong stop, we talked about “certainty right at our doorstep”. For the Anhui-Guizhou-Jiangsu-Shandong leg, here’s another message: scattered as individual provinces, they unite to generate orders. Once the two networks covering the Pearl River Delta and Anhui, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Shandong are established, at the Foshan Exhibition in October, three forces will converge: business groups from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, the pragmatic mindset of Guangdong players, and the market depth of Jiangsu, Shandong, Anhui and Guizhou. This is not merely a regional exhibition; it is a comprehensive rebalancing of resources for China’s auto modification industry this year. For brand owners, there is only one task to accomplish: get your products ready, offer competitive pricing, and prepare to secure orders at Foshan in October.
